Keswick

The main street/market square and The Moot Hall. Keswick is located just off the A66 road, approx. 22 miles west of Penrith. An old market town close to the shore of Derwent water, it's one of the main Lake District centres for water sports, climbing and fell walking. There are plenty of pubs, shops of all kinds, (including outdoor wear and equipment)a beautiful park, with crazy golf, 18 hole mini golf and 18 hole putting green. The Theatre by the Lake is an excellent place to visit, with plays, music festivals, lectures and various talks going on there all year round.
