Stronachlachar, the Northern end of Loch Katrine.
Loch Katrine can be reached from Callander. Leave Callander and head north on the A84 until you come to Kilmahog, you will see a sign for the A821, turn left here and head for Brig O’Turk and Loch Ackray. Just about 1/2 mile after Tigh Mor (looks like a castle) on the right, a small lane leads off to the car parking area at Loch Katrine. There is a large sign with directions down to the Loch on the A821 at the turning. It’s approx. 10 miles from Callander.
