Saltburn Surfing. Digital photos and information on Saltburn surfing

Just setting the scene for surfing at Saltburn.

The date was March 31st 2006, the time was 17:00 hrs (5 pm) The air temperature
was approx. 6 degrees Centigrade.

These guys must be nuts but great to watch !

After a storm out at sea, the wind had dropped to a whisper
but the tide was high and so was the surf

Plenty of good breakers breaking well out from the beach.

These two guys caught this wave just about right and had a great ride in.

Got it right this time...

This is so easy...

No lying down on the job...

Where's all this white water come from ?

There's more of it now...

It's boiling up all around me...

I'll just hold back a bit, then catch it on the lip...

Yeah, here we go, here we go, here we go...
